All their Beethoven are belong to us. Again.
A couple of weeks back, I had posted a link to the Beeb's free, downloadable Beethoven symphonies. At that point, they only had the first 5 symphonies online. The BBC website now has symphonies 6,7, 8 and 9 available for download. Took me about 2.5 mins to download the 9th. The downloads will be available in full only until the 4th of July. So, those of you that missed out the first time around, make sure you don't miss out again.
PS: Steve, VK, thanks for recommending Barenboim's 2002 recording. It was excellent. As was Monteverdi. Yahoo music engine makes it so much easier to listen to music :)
PPS: To those of you visiting this blog from Canada, Happy Canada Day!
