The Freakonomics blog
I bought Steve Levitt's Freakonomics a couple of weeks back. Levitt's work has intrigued me since the first time I heard of him, when he won the John Bates Clark medal. I haven't had much time in the past few weeks, so all I've done is to leaf through the book briefly. What I've seen so far, I've liked. Here is a guy who takes economics out of its dismal domain and makes it genuinely interesting, not to mention controversial. Levitt now has his own blog, which might be a great introduction to his work for those of you who aren't familiar with him yet.
