The Curse has left the building
Not that I know the first thing about baseball, but the Boston Red Sox have finally ended the Curse of the Bambino, beating the St.Louis Cardinals 4-0 in the so-called World Series. This is the first World Series win for the Sox since 1918, when the legendary Babe Ruth was sold by the Red Sox to the New York Yankees, thereby incurring the curse.
